Pond Aerator Air Compressor
Hydro Logic AirPod air diffusers come standard with all Hydro Logic AirLift aeration systems. These air diffusers are the most durable, efficient & largest air diffusers on the market today and extremely easy to install. Each air diffuser contains 1 large 24 in. rubber, EPDM tubular air diffuser securely attached to a highly stable base containing two ballast tubes. The single air diffuser is capable of handling airflow rates of 0.5 to 7.5 cfm. Overall, EPDM tube diffusers are far superior to air stones, porous media and even EPDM round disc diffusers. Hydro Logic standard EPDM tube diffuser is more than 2 ½ times larger than two 9″ EPDM disc diffusers. Our air diffusers are constructed to withstand total airflow from the compressors without damaging the EPDM membranes (unlike EPDM disc air diffusers).AirPod air diffusers are often purchased to replace Vertex AirStation air diffusers and air diffusers manufactured by Kasco, AquaMaster, Aqua Control and many others.
Additional parts required: either 3/8 (Part No. HLP DIF-DUWT375) or 5/8 inch fitting (Part No. HLP DIF-DUWT675) to connect AirPod diffuser to DownUnder weighted air supply tubing. Part No. HLP DIF-DUWT375 requires the use of stainless steel hose clamps (Part No. HLP HC-375).

100 feet coiled and box DownUnder™ 5/8 in. diameter (0.625 inch I.D.) air supply tubing used to connect Hydro Logic AirLift air compressors to AirPod air diffusers. DownUnder aeration tubing is constructed of a flexible PVC composite and is self-weighted in order to firmly remain along the pond or lake bottom after the installation. Recommended for most Hydro Logic AirLift aeration systems installations – especially when water depths exceed 15 feet and tubing runs exceed 500 feet in length.

This fitting is used to connect AirPod tube diffuser to 3/8 inch (0.375 in.) DownUnder aeration tubing. Male threaded end screws into the tube diffuser and barbed end attaches to 3/8 inch DownUnder weighted aeration tubing using stainless steel hose clamps (Part No. HLP HC-375). Do not use PVC cement with this plastic fitting.
